B.A. in Mathematics

With its variety of elective choices, this program offers a broader liberal arts curriculum than the bachelor of science degree programs.  Still, students can shape this major into a preparation for graduate school, business, or industry.

    MATH 767, One-Dimensional Real Analysis    

     Two approved MATH elective  chosen in consultation with your adviser, one of which satisfies the capstone experience.

   Standards for Graduation.
To be certified for graduation with a degree from the Department of Mathematics & Statistics, a student must complete all courses used to satisfy the requirements for the major program with a grade of C- or better and have an overall grade-point average of at least 2.00 in these courses.
